There isn’t really much I can tell you about Devil’s Heaven other than that they’ve released a great debut album called “Heaven On Earth” that is well worth checking out! The information available from their website, Facebook page (which only has just over 50 likes) and press release is pretty vague really. What we do know is that they’re from Sweden, which is generally a good sign when it comes to rock music! “Heaven On Earth” was released through Helldiver Records on 25th February and you can find it on iTunes.

The band consists of Marcus Nygren on vocals, Jonas Reingold on bass, Richard Anderrsson on keyboards, Jaime Salazar on drums and Jake Sandberg / Michael Mansson on guitars.

Oddly the tracks on the download we received were all wrongly titled – perhaps a cunning ploy to catch out lazy reviewers? Who knows! Personal favourites from the album would be “Wine Me”, “Demerital Action”, “Touched By An Angel”, “Riders In The Sky” and “Hot Sex”.

About “NI Rocks Recommends”

I'm not a reviewer and I certainly don’t claim to be a journalist, but I wanted to acknowledge some of the great music being submitted to Rock Radio NI by artists, promoters and labels. That was the simple idea behind “NI Rocks Recommends”. To be honest I’m not really a big fan of the whole idea of “Reviews” as they just represent one person’s opinion!!  So I'm not giving marks or ratings, trying to categorise bands or compare artists. The albums that I’ll be recommending are merely those that I would buy myself and which you’ll be hearing played on my shows on Rock Radio NI.
