_{Generally I’m not really a fan of screaming vocals, however, in moderation and mixed with ‘clean’ vocals I’m a little more flexible. Fathom Farewell is identified as a ‘melodic metalcore’ band in the e-mail that we received about their new EP “Consume The Earth” (released on 20th September). As always I gave it a listen to see what I thought – and really liked it! There is some screaming vocals, but as the band’s website says ‘the innovative music they create has a piece of appeal for everyone’! The track “Six Feet Beneath” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 4th October.}

 

_{Fathom Farewell formed in Boston, USA in 2014 and released their debut EP “Drowning Limits” shortly afterwards. A second EP called “Decomposition” was released in 2017 and “Consume The Earth” is their third release. The latest six track EP is self-released, with promotion being done by the guys at Clawhammer PR.}

_{Since forming, Fathom Farewell have supported Sevendust on tour and been part of the Vans Warped Tour on four occasions; as well as supporting other bands and playing other festivals.}
