_{“II: Sojourn” is the second album from English rock band Wytch Hazel and it was released by Bad Omen Records on 13th July. The band was founded in 2011 and there was a clear vision of combining NWOBHM influences with an interest in medieval studies. That is reflected in their image as well. The track “Save My Life” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 13th July.}

 

 

 

_{Wytch Hazel was formed in Lancashire in 2011 by singer/guitarist Colin Hendra, who had studied classical piano and sang in the choir before discovering heavy metal via Iron Maiden’s “The Number of the Beast”. When studying music at college he discovered medieval dance and music and the vision for Wytch Hazel was born.}

_{The band released their first single in 2011, followed by the EP “The Truth” in 2012. The debut album “Prelude” was released in 2016 and drew comparisons to bands such as Wishbone Ash and Thin Lizzy.}

_{In addition to Colin Hendra on guitar and lead vocals, the band features Neil Corkery on bass, Alex Haslam on guitar and Jack Spencer on drums.}
