“None for One” is the debut album from Finnish band Flat Earth and it was released on 9th November via Drakkar Records. The band features former members of HIM and Amorphis and it came together in 2017 before quickly starting work on their debut release. The single “Cyanide” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 12th October.

Flat Earth was formed after bass player Niclas Etelavuori left Amorphis in 2017. He recruited former HIM guitarist Mikko Lindstrom and later former HIM drummer Mika Karppinen to start working on tracks for the album. The final addition was singer Anttoni Pikkarainen who had been a member of Polanski.

The album was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa who has previously worked with artists such as HIM, Amorhis and Apocalyptica.

About “NI Rocks Recommends”

The simple idea behind “NI Rocks Recommends” is to acknowledge and promote some of the great music being submitted to Rock Radio NI. The albums that I’ll be recommending are those that you’ll hear me playing tracks from on my shows. I'll not be giving marks or ratings or analyzing the tracks in great detail; just telling you something about the artist and the album. It’s a personal recommendation to go check something out, not a traditional “review”!
