It’s been 17 years since AMY GRANT, the proclaimed “Queen of Christian Music” was last in Ireland, and thanks to Trevor King promotions she made it back for a 3 day Unplugged U.K. tour, playing Glasgow, Belfast & London.

Amy has blessed the world with her music for many years, and even watching her now she

is still as fresh as a daisy!  I was amazed at how many people showed up to see her, almost filling out the Waterfront Hall.

The day started off with me getting out of work early, and with an invite to attend her soundcheck as well, I thought I would take it up, so here are a couple of shots from the soundcheck.

So that was the soundcheck, now onto the main show!  Kicking off the night was the BELFAST COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR, a young choir whose hearts are for the Lord.  Led by the fantastic Marie Lacey, the choir raised the roof off the Waterfront Hall, getting everyone in the mood for a good night, as well as rounding off their set with the choir anthem “Oh, Happy Day”.

And so after the choir make their way of the stage, it was time for the woman everyone was waiting for, Amy Grant!  With her fantastic voice and bright smile she warmed the hearts of everyone in the hall.
