Knock Out Kaine released their second album “Rise of the Electric Jester” through Rocksector Records on 2nd March. A band’s second album can sometimes be a disappointment but that definitely isn’t the case with this release. I really liked the debut release from Knock Out Kaine and if anything this one is even better. The first single from the album was “16 Grams of Heart Attack” which was played on the Friday NI Rocks Show recently.
I’d posted a recommendation for the band’s debut album “House of Sins” which was released through German label DOTT in 2012 - http://www.rockradioni.co.uk/back-stage/music-reviews/1097-ni-rocks-recommends-knock-out-kaine-qhouse-of-sinsq.html
Knock Out Kaine formed in 2005 in Lincoln although the band members have been around the music scene for a while. Lead vocalist Dean Foxx fronted sleaze bands Sweet Teaze and Sinful Kixx (later renamed Ratpack) in the 90s. The other members of the band are Danny Krash on drums, Jimmy Bohemian on guitar and Lee Byrne on bass.
Favourite tracks on the album would include “16 Grams of Heart Attack”, “How Would I Know”, “Ain’t Your Kind”, “Flying Blind” and “Because You Were There”.

About “NI Rocks Recommends”
The simple idea behind “NI Rocks Recommends” is to acknowledge and promote some of the great music being submitted to Rock Radio NI. I'll not be giving marks or ratings or analyzing the tracks in great detail; just telling you something about the artist and the album. What it isn’t is a “review”!
My musical tastes cover most things rock; from the not too melodic to the not too heavy. The albums that I’ll be recommending are merely those that I would buy myself and which you’ll be hearing played on my shows on Rock Radio NI.
