Jeff Martin will be best known as the frontman for Racer X, as well as being the drummer in Badlands. His latest band is called Blasted To Static and they released their self-titled debut through Metalapolis Records on 27th May. This is an album worth checking out – not just for Jeff Martin’s excellent vocals, but for the guitar playing of Australian Stu Marshall who has played with bands such as Death Dealer and Empires of Eden. I played the track “The Hammer” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 3rd July.

“All This Could Be Yours” is the third album from Danish rockers Shotgun Revolution and it was released through Mighty Music on 27th May. This is one of those albums that you listen to and instantly like. The lead-off single “City of Fire” was co-written with Black Stone Cherry and Shotgun Revolution also supported the band during their recent Scandinavian tour. This track has featured on both the NI Rocks A-Z Show (5th April) and Friday NI Rocks Show (4th March) on Rock Radio NI. I also played “Rise To Power” on the latter show on 3rd June.

To celebrate the anniversary The Answer are re-issuing the album with re-mastered tracks and bonus material. Ahead of its release the band were in Belfast's Limelight1 on Friday, June 3rd to play the album in its entirety.
