NI Rocks Recommends - Absolva – "Flames of Justice"
Absolva were formed in May 2012 by two former members of Fury UK – check out the interview on the RRNI site for more information. They wasted no time writing material for their first album “Flames of Justice” which was released by Rocksector Records on 5th November. If you like tracks driven by rawkin twin lead guitars this is the album for you as it certainly delivers on that front!! Having said that one of my favourite tracks is “Only When It’s Over” which is a slower number that builds to an awesome finale. Check out the acoustic guitar instrumental “State of Grace” as well.
Worldsend are a band that came together in 2008, but they bring with them a history of the local rock scene that dates back to the 1980s with members of the band having played in various groups over the years.
Worldsend consists of Eddie Currie on vocals, J McCloskey on guitar, Paul Boyd on bass and Alistair Campbell on drums. I’ve known Eddie for about 30 years so the idea of interviewing him seemed rather odd but with recent announcements it seemed like a good time to talk about Worldsend and future plans.

Now down to business - that's the rock 'n' roll business. Before starting I want to say the Belfast Telegraph can piss away off.
