There are two NI Rocks Shows uploaded each week on Rock Radio NI. These are the playlists for those shows for the month of September – all of which are still available from the On Demand Player. There are tracks by around 150 different artists on the Shows this month. This month the Friday NI Rocks Show included an interview with Todd Poole from Roxy Blue. I also posted e-mail interviews with Mariangela Demurtas from Ardours and Elias Salo from Block Buster.
I’ve been a fan of Kobra and the Lotus for quite a few years so their latest album “Evolution” was always going to be ‘must-have’ when it was released by Napalm Records on 20th September. I pre-ordered the vinyl picture disc and also bought the CD. The three singles from the new album had been sent to us by Napalm Records and these have featured on the Friday NI Rocks Show over the past few weeks.

“Final Offering” is the new album from American rock icons Axe and it was released by Escape Music on 20th September 2019. Coming almost twenty years after the release of their previous studio album, “Final Offering” is also destined to be the last album from the band. Several tracks from the album were included on that Show and “Money” was included on the Show on 20th September.
“Zokusho” is the second album from The Defiants, a band whose members are all linked to Danger Danger. The latest album was released on 13th September by Frontiers Records and it features three current members of Danger Danger and a former vocalist from that band. The track “Love Is The Killer” was featured on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 27th September.
